The first episode of Voices of Boldness was released for International Women’s Day.
This episode is a little different: I have not one guest, but five! In this roundtable discussion, I aim to present a fact-based picture of gender inequality, grounded in quantitative studies. What do these studies tell us, and what solutions are available today to reduce inequality? In particular, what should we make of quotas and legal measures such as the Copé-Zimmermann and Rixain laws? Finally, beyond the figures, what is the reality in the workplace, and what challenges remain today?
In the first part, I speak with Elyes Jouini and Soumia Malinbaum. Radia Benhallam, Lorna Lucet and Hortense Pruvost join us later.
Elyes Jouini is a board member of the Institut universitaire de France, holder of the Dauphine UNESCO ‘Women and Science’ Chair, and a former minister.
Soumia Malinbaum is Vice President of Business Development and CSR at JEMS and President of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Radia Benhallam is an ESG partner at Oderis.
Lorna Lucet is Head of Consumer Goods ESG at Amundi.
Hortense Pruvost is Impact Director at Vestiaire Collective.
