The Grand Prix

In 1889, the tenth edition of the Universal Exhibition was held in Paris, organized on the theme of the French Revolution.

The Vever brothers met with resounding success and won their first Grand Prix in Jewelry. Critics praised the grace of their "bouquets of jewelry" and the quality of their execution.

This was the beginning of a long series of awards for the company, which won four Grand Prix awards at the World's Fairs in Paris in 1889 and 1900, Brussels in 1897 and London in 1908.
