It is a great pleasure to welcome to this episode a woman I deeply admire: Pauline Duval, business leader, investor and author of Transmissions – New-Generation Entrepreneurship.
Pauline introduced the expression “TEP” — Tout Est Possible (“Anything Is Possible”) — into her meetings, embodying her boldness, the courage to take chances, unleash energy and ideas, and challenge conventions.
One of Pauline’s defining traits is her remarkable humility, despite her exceptional career. At just 29, she became chief executive of the family group, then generating €500 million in revenue. Ten years later, Groupe Duval had become a purpose-driven company and was generating €1 billion in revenue. Her group has diversified into property, the operation of golf courses and residences, and microfinance in Africa, while supporting local activities in Asia.
As a pioneering female angel investor and committed feminist, Pauline champions women’s entrepreneurship and gender parity in leadership.
In this episode, we explore:
- Her childhood and adventurous side,
- Her personal definition of boldness,
- Her decision to join the family business,
- The changes she has brought about,
- Passing on knowledge and the different forms it takes,
- Her commitment to both feminism and purpose-driven entrepreneurship,
- The importance of mentorship and her role within YPO.
